After capturing 5 foreign vessels originated from Thailand at the Berau Sea, East Kalimantan, the Indonesian government through the Minister of Maritime and Fisheries Susi Pudjiastuti was able to perform another capture of another 22 foreign vessels originated from China at the Arafura sea, Indonesia. In response to this issue, the Coordinating Minister of Maritime Indroyono Soesilo claims to have been communicating with the Chinese Ambassador in attempting to address this issue. "What is clear is that the Minister of Maritime and Fisheries (Susi Pudjiastuti) has already informed the Chinese Ambassador in Jakarta the presence of these foreign vessels.
